Further, the Florin-Lab also invites spontaneous applications for a wide variety of positions such as: Research Assistants, PhD students and Post-Doctoral Researchers. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the lab, we seek motivated applicants from a wide variety of fields such as: Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Physics, Computer Science and Biology. While spontaneous applications do not come with specific job requirements we encourage applicants to have some background in programming mainly with MatLab. Additionally, strong knowledge of English is required given it is our official lab language.
As a part of the Institute of Clinical Neuroscience and Medical Psychology, the lab offers a broad, dynamic, international and interdisciplinary work environment with a strong historical record of providing career opportunities both within academia and the industry (Meet our alumni!). Our strong ongoing collaboration with the Center for Neuromodulation and Movement disorders allows for state of the art research at the interface between fundamental and clinical neurosciences. Further, the lab is equipped with a full range of resources for neuroscientific research including set-ups for Magnetoencephalography, Electroencephalography, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and access to a research only 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner.
