Jan will be representing our lab at Biomag 2026 in Bejing!
Jan Schalla
August 20, 2026
From 23 – 25 August, Jan is showcasing our latest work on laminar MEG methods and the relevance for Parkinson’s disease.
| Date | Event | Location | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday, 23 Aug | Poster Session – “Validation of Laminar Inference Using High Precision MEG” | Hall 5 | Poster 3:35 – 4:35 pm |
| Monday, 24 Aug | Symposium presentation – “Inferring Laminar Dynamics of Human Neurocognitive Processes with Magnetoencephalography” Our contribution: “Using Laminar Inference to Understand the Pathophysiological Communication in Parkinson’s Disease” |
Hall 4D | 1:00 – 2:15 pm |
| Tuesday, 25 Aug | Short Oral of Poster – “Validation of Laminar Inference Using High Precision MEG” | Hall 4C | 4:10 – 5:10 pm |
Jan’s talks will explore how cutting edge laminar inference can reveal in more detail how the communication pathways go awry in Parkinson’s disease, and the poster will extent laminar inference to the LCMV beamformer as well as to the MEGIN system. Stay tuned for updates and the results—our lab is happy to share the findings with the community!
